Anni Holm is the super-organizer of the Chicago art community. Now she's pulling together artXposium with few resources and a whole lot of elbow grease.
Ahhhhh, bars.... the food, the drinks, the sports and friends. What's not to love? Speaking of bars, we just launched a site for the friendly folk over at the H|C.
Even we, sometimes, get tired of seeing the same old image gallery navigation. I. Carmen Quintana let us run wild with our imaginations to come up with an alternative.
A new site for an amazing vodka imported from Ireland. We were contracted for development by One Design Company.
Crew
I am a co-founder and the resident Flash geek of the VW team. I can only think of a couple other things I’d like to be doing with my life right now; one of those things involves brewing beer on the west coast. I have a (pricey) degree in photography from Columbia College Chicago, but lately I have not had too much time to shoot.
I am a huge Detroit Tigers fan, I love riding my bike around the city, and am the baddest Excite Trucker around.
I ride a custom-built fixie around Chicago, the city that loves me back. I people-watch, cook (reasonably well), love my mother, and quality drafts.
I explore the Chicago buildings and neighborhoods. It requires so little and yields so much. A bike, some time, and a camera (if you care to take one).
I spend most of my time programming, whether it be games or websites. When I’m not programming, I’m normally playing games. However, ever since the release of Guitar Hero 1, my gaming time has been pretty much overtaken by plastic guitars.
I love Pizza Day, Burger day, annihilating anyone (this includes you Josh) at Guitar Hero/Rock Band and Pyro-ing around Team Fortress 2.
I’m technically a front-end designer, but I am getting pretty darn familiar with OOP and Actionscript (among other things). Watch out Jon, I’m coming for you!
I play in band, can pwn anyone at Guitar Hero III and am a pretty decent chef… seriously I convert potatoes to waffle fries like whoa!
I’m a hermit living in a skinny town of mountains and snow. I love legos. You should see this huuuuuge castle.
I heart (open source) technology. Especially the BSD/unix/linux kinds. I spend my time building boxes (model/wood/psychological) and taking pictures.
